Hello all. I know its been a while since we last posted here on the CLF site. We've been pretty busy with work, what with business celebrating the conservative victory this November. On a personal level, I can say that I am just elated with the victory, with conservatives taking our country back from the secular progressive scourge. I am just happier in general and have really felt more upbeat, even with the extra 0.75 hour of unpaid overtime we've implemented at my IT job.

Now with the potential destruction of further unemployment benefits coupled with making Bush's tax cuts permanent for everyone including millionaires and billionaires, who by the way, if you haven't noticed, created upteen thousands of jobs from a period between 2001 and 2008, we still need to keep these cuts in order to invest in job creating industries such as hotel/restaurant management, fiberglass polishing, financial things, and culinary services. Tax cuts create wealth, simple as that, despite the liberal lie of unemployment benefits returning 1.64 dollars for every dollar spent as opposed to Bush tax cuts permanent returning 0.29 cents for every dollar spent.. but that's a lie. Don't believe the lies.

In addition to the tax argument, the one lie I am tired of hearing from the liberals is about the so-called evils of "free trade". Free is right there in the first word, so I am all for that. Plus, I can afford a 35 inch high def flat screen TV. Marvene can afford an I-Touch for her 17 month old grand-niece Jayden. That's called capitalism. And its the only thing we have that isn't at least communist/socialist. Clearly, the fact that all these people can spend $198 for high-end electronics, you just know our country must be doing something right. You can't do that in France or Germany and just spend $198. Its like $599, and that right there tells me that that additional $401 is the difference between our freedom loving enterprise of rugged individualists, and the socialist Western Europe who spend that difference on trivial things like taxes and health care and infrastructure and research&development and social services in general. Plus, those people don't have the freedom to buy guns whenever, preserve property rights, and basically have no limits in a companies behavior in the marketplace (with the exception of the actions of a natural person in the context of fertility rights, sexuality, and putting women in their rightful place).

Don't take that last item wrong, my lady is a strong woman in today's society. She what some would call a Grizzly mom. No, we do not have any children (re. low sperm motility), but we do have two adorable Yorkies. One brown, one black with white spot, named Chi Chi and Dolores. I can assure you that were anyone to attack either one, such as that big collie near our walk route, my lady would attack with a ferocity not seen since Chuck Norris in the middle part of Mission Impossible II when Braddock just goes nuts on those Cambodians guarding the bridge.

So that's all, its basically whats been kicking around my head these past glorious four and a half weeks since we took back at least 1/2 of our country.

Andy Schlafly, son of the great Phyllis Schlafly, has long stood for promoting conservative values. He's combated the evil Wikipedia and their liberal biases to create Conservapedia, an intellectual project designed to expose the truth that evolution is a lie, McCarthy was a hero, and that the Bible explains everything. Lets take a look at this hero right now.

Lately, good ole Andy has taken on another throbbing example of liberal bias being forced down our quivering throats....the "theory" of relativity. After all, its just a "theory", and that don't mean much. As the great Conservapedia explains...

The theory of relativity is a mathematical system that allows no exceptions. It is heavily promoted by liberals who like its encouragement of relativism and its tendency to mislead people in how they view the world. A new poll has found that the number of people who believe Barak Hussain Obama is a Moslim has doubled since March 2009. That's right, CLF style politics is gaining traction.

Ironically, this poll appears at the same time there are the recent grumblings over Obama ramming a Moslim Church down our throats at the WTC site.
Obama is siding with Moslims and is rubbing our collective face in this like you'd rub a dog's nose in dog poo. Why? Because he can. Much like the hijackers of 9/11, Moslims are using our laws and freedoms against us. We conservatives have been so outraged by the simple idea of a Moslim Church anywhere near the WTC site, that we have made darn sure we keep talking about it because talking about the economy (which is all Frank, Dodd, Clinton, Obama's fault, mind you) isn't what is going to gain us traction in the coming elections. See, whenever you switch the focus from the trivial economic realities into something more formidable that will trip our anger sensors - something like reverse racism or gay people having parades - then you obtain a larger voting pool of people on your side.

Since the LSM (lame stream media) refuses to place proper blame onto the culprits of our high deficits, high unemployment, and declining wages - FDCCO (Frank, Dodd, Clinton, Carter, Obama) - then we must tell the struggling middle class that the real problem facing America is unqualified minorities such as the Blacks, Mexicans, Gays, and Moslims.

Conservatives have mastered the art of feigned ideas for almost forty years, so please keep telling your friends and family to be outraged over the minorities. They just want to take away your jobs that the wealthy people are kind enough to give us.

Just a reminder for REAL Americans. There's only one news station to turn to in times like these. The dire straits many of us find ourselves in. The struggle to just get by on with both parents working. The reduced benefits we receive from our Social Security disability (which should totally be phased out, but not before REAL Americans, who paid into it, get what they deserve). All these issues we are facing pale in comparison to the real threats, the one's Glenn Beck talks about every night at 5 pm EST.....

Communists taking over.

And now, the USDA is engaging in a systematic plan to discriminate against white farmers!!!! Wait, no, that USDA worker didn't really do that, but the NAACP was clapping and cheering while she was talking, and there were other comments about race in that speech. Given that she made comments about race in the speech, and even though the initial outrage was based on an edited clip, she's still an activist who violated the Hatch Act. Plus, the NAACP was cheering and clapping.

All this points to the simple fact that Obama and his kind are trying to take over our country. By "his kind", I clearly mean Communist/Marxist/Fascists. I'm not talking about African Americans, where would you get that idea?. African Americans are good people, especially folks like Ken Blackwell and Michael Steele (and that other guy whose name escapes me, but he played football before going into politics...Marvene, you know who I'm talking about).

All the news I watch tells me that this is the absolute truth. And that is FOX NEWS, the greatest news channel for REAL Americans who are concerned with the Communist takeover of our country. And when I say communist, that should have no racial overtones whatsoever. No other media (i.e. lamestream) is informing us about this scourge.

In a somewhat related topic, I found this article about the latest Nielsen ratings.

Fox News may be the undisputed ratings champion in cable news, but not among black viewers.

The New York Times' Brian Stelter tweeted that, according to Nielsen Media Research, Fox News has averaged just 29,000 black viewers in primetime so far this television season (9/09-7/10). That represents just 1.38% of its 2.102 million total viewer audience.

CNN and MSNBC, meanwhile, both have far more black viewers, both in absolute terms and as a proportion of their overall audiences.

MSNBC has averaged 145,000 black viewers, representing 19.3% of its 751,000 total viewer audience.

CNN has averaged 134,000 black viewers, representing 20.7% of its 648,000 total viewer audience.

I'm sorry, but "may be" the undisputed champions of cable news??? Sorry, there is no dispute, they are the greatest, and the numbers clearly show that REAL Americans prefer Fox News to all other news sources. After all, popularity is the best measure of quality and intelligience!!!!

What I Will NOT Be Doing On My Vacation

Well, me and my lady are about to head off for vacation. We're going to Florida, the Tampa area to be specific. Just in time to avoid the oil slick that is totally the fault of the envirowackos and Obama. Being childless (due to low sperm motility), me and my lady have freedom to do anything we want in the Palmetto State, be it eating out at a really nice restaurant, drinking Diet Cokes on the beach, eating nachos poolside, or having a casual brunch at our favorite spot, Applebee's.

We are really looking forward to this trip, but I can assure what we will NOT be doing....imbibing alcohol. I am totally against the evil nectar, given my past "issues" and inability to control myself. Since I cannot drink, I give my lady stern looks when she orders a Zima or sangria. If I am unable to cut loose like that, she should suffer with me. But even if she does down a few wine coolers, I know she will control herself (like I couldn't) and will avoid getting on inflatable rafts on the Gulf. The same cannot be said for Jerry Whipple of the Tampa area.

Everyone knows it's not safe to drink and drive. Better beware of drinking and getting on a pool float, too.

Especially if you're in the Gulf of Mexico.

The U.S. Coast Guard on Wednesday afternoon rescued a man on a pool float who had drifted about a mile out into the gulf.

The man, identified as Jerry Whipple, is "suspected of being extremely inebriated," said Petty Officer First Class Mariana O'Leary.

"The message here is this guy got lucky. He got really lucky," O'Leary said. "Depending on what the tides and currents are doing, he could have never been seen again."

According to the Coast Guard spokeswoman, a Good Samaritan who was on his 22-foot recreational boat called in to report an unconscious man floating well offshore.

When officials with the Coast Guard and a Clearwater Fire Rescue unit arrived about 12:20 p.m., they found the man unconscious on the float. He was wearing a life jacket.

He later regained consciousness and was taken to paramedics waiting at Coast Guard Station Sand Key.

Whipple, whose age and address were unknown Wednesday, was taken to Largo Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, said Clearwater Fire spokeswoman Beth Watts.

We plan on visiting Marvene, who has a nice condo down in that area. I will ask her if she knows old Jerry Whipple. She seems to know a lot of the drunks down there, so they may have crossed paths before.

Why Regulating Business Sucks

Since Buck doesn't want to play "hide the hot dog" with me tonight on the final eve of our annual Assemblies of God Conservative Burly Men With Guns Apocalypse Preparedness... I mean Bunnies and Sunshine ONLY retreat (and we didn't bring any young boys to the retreat to play "hide the hot dog" with this year, either), I want to take a few moments to spell out the evils of regulation for the CLF's tremendous audience of fellow conservatives. Regulation gives the government the power to tell you that you can't sell whatever you want to whoever you want for the sole purpose of making money while screwing over some stupid liberal that really deserves it.

For instance, regulation may soon shut down the Assemblies of God "Jesus Youth Warriors" program. This community minded program purchases primarily white children (preferably boys) from poor people who don't go to Assemblies of God churches and brings them to our militaristic doomsday compound.. AHEM, education center where they are filled with food and scriptural training and other fun things from my pants... MY MIND: I meant to say mind! This is done in order to get them to love Jesus and penis... PROVERBS more than anything in this world. Our Jesus Youth Warriors are constantly engaged in the struggle against fundamentalist Islam. From the time they are able to ride bikes, we turn them loose on the community to look for dark skinned people that might even speak foreign languages. They follow them home, take down their address, toss a few methamphetamene making compounds in their backyard and immediately call the police to inform them of the seedy drug den in the neighborhood. This sucessful program called "Dope for Jesus" has led to the removal of fifty eight threats to national security in our small rural community alone! At one raid, we were even able to convince a single mom with three jobs being led away to sell us all five of her children to prepare her legal defense fund!

(Note to Potential Clients: We pay SUBSTANTIALLY LESS for females. They are sold into sex slavery in Mexico as women are totally WORTHLESS in Jesus Combat and far more valuable a commodity as third world hookers.... ummm, no we're giving them all brand new ponies! THAT'S what we REALLY do!)

This good, wholesome program has come under scrutiny by the local members of Child Protective Services! The government seems to think that being reared in an EXCEPTIONALLY LOVING (especially after bedtime) wholesome Christian environment is not a proper setting for young, nubile, mostly nude boys! It's shocking that the state would interfere with a program that is privately funded and keeps many househlolds off of welfare. This lack of welfare spending for the undeserving poor opens up our hard earned taxpayer dollars for more important things like tanks and bombs for Iran and two slingshots for the Iranian Invasion Fleet and the rubber raft that would be the invasion fleet and corporate welfare and tax breaks for the wealthy and big bank bailouts and corporate jets and death squads for liberals and cute boy pages for all of our conservative Congressmen! That stuff will do America a lot better than silly organiations that want "save kids from sexual abuse" when we're already saving kids by teaching them to be IRS building suicide bombers... uh, I mean appreciation committees!

My own churches programs aside, look at the natural gas industry. Following deregulation, poor customers of a brand new natural gas provider in destitute War, West Virginia (who were probably so broke they didn't pay their bills) actually complained about service interruptions! In an era of regulation, the government would have made the smart people at the new company fix the problem, cutting in to their hard earned profits that they made by the sweat of their brow figuring out how to lie to Democrats. This was completely avoided by the deregulation legislation! America: 1; Stupid, Broke Democrats: 0! Some of these filthy, godless liberals even DIED as a result of the outages! America: 3; Stupid, Broke Democrats: -2!

You see, folks, America is all about the freedom of some really hot guy in a wicked good looking designer suit being able to screw some poor bastard who can't afford a suit directly in the backside for an hour and take his money, then buy another wicked suit with the money, declare it a business loss and have the government reimburse him for the new suit with the poor bastard's tax money. That's FREEDOM!

As much as I have been enjoying the company of fellow exceptionally well-endowed and muscular conservative men during our two week annual domestic terrorism training... uh, I mean good-natured target shooting and camping retreat, I felt the need to post about the dangers of a nuclearly armed Iran and their threat to our way of life. While I don't like taking time away from my explosives... (COUGH!) I mean creative firestarting seminar and snuggling in the tent, err, I mean the exchange of completely heterosexual nude male bonding reverse hugs and spooning with my tent mate Buck, the threat posed by the evil Islamic Republic of Iran is important enough to make an exception.

Many international observers were badmouthing Israel for their recent blockade of "humanitarian" aid (all astute observers of the Bush years can tell you that food is most CERTAINLY a weapon, especially when it is denied to the starving enemy! Take that, North Korea!) to the evil residents of the terrorist controlled Gaza Strip. Despite the claims that no weapons were on board by the slanted, America hating Reporters Without Borders, every biscuit and vitamin pill can certainly be called a weapon of mass destruction. On top of that, the weapons left behind by illegally assaulted Israeli commandoes were still on board! REAL GUNS! We all know that no Muslim ANYWHERE, even those here in the U.S., shouldn't be allowed to own guns, because when people who aren't white and Christian own guns they are weapons of mass destruction.

The evil Islamic Republic of Iran threatened to break the blockade and allow all of that dangerous oatmeal gruel to enter Gaza and stop the planned starvation of the Palestinians by the Israelis that IN NO WAY RESEMBLES the treatment of the Jews in concentration camps by Nazi Germany. In order to keep the peace, Israel decided to let the undeserved nourishment in.

Why did the Israelis back down? Their plan of starvation for Palestine would have finally brought peace to the Middle East! If all the Palestinians were dead, no one would be complaining about Palestine anymore! Iran's destabilizing threat should be met with ABSOLUTE FORCE. BOTH soldiers who aren't currently serving in Afghanistan, Iraq, South Korea, and the Gulf of Mexico should be immediately deployed to Iran with the rubber raft and slingshot we as a country can afford to drop pellet bombs on the Iranian capital!

Lessons Learned from the Oil Spill

Hello all! Its been a while since we at the CLF have posted. As always, I am busy working at work, Michelle has her hands full with Spencer, Marvene has taken to some foo-foo pottery class, and all Fuido wants to do is hang out at the gun range. With regards to Winston, he's at some remote spot with a few other like-minded single men concerned with the government takeover of guns. I got a text message from him and it sounds like they're having a good time being in such close quarters without any female interference. So, as always, its up to me to break the CLF logjam and just get to posting.

And what better subject to talk about than the oil spill. See, this is clearly Obama's Katrina, given that it also occurred in the Gulf of Mexico. That right there is enough to call it Obama's Katrina. Nevermind that Bush's Katrina wasn't really his Katrina since it was all state and local government's fault. But regardless, Obama's Katrina is a way worse Katrina than Bush's Katrina, which was not really a Katrina. Anyway, you get my point.

So, the federal government clearly was not there at the site of the spill. What is it, day 46?? Bush took only 4 or 5 days to get to New Orleans, so already he is looking pretty good right now.

Then you got the evidence that this was all the environmentalists fault, as the very smart Sarah Palin said in her highly professional social networking pages. Clearly, it was the environmentalists who were pushing for deepwater extraction of oil and gas. There would have been no environmental impacts at ANWR, that is for sure. If they had just let them drill there (ANWR) then, they would not be drilling here (Gulf of Mexico) now.

Either way, the oil companies should be allowed to drill then and now, here and there, and everywhere. I do so like drilling here and now. I do so like it, without a doubt.

So this is a disaster for sure. Except the oceans will probably clean it up by itself. So we can all agree that the environment will be okay. And if its not, it because the federal government was just too involved.

I recently found this video from the very smart and wonky Michele Bachmann from 2008. She was one of the first drill here drill now proponents. As with Sarah Palin, I think you'll see that they were both just pushing for safe drilling in places like ANWR, not in risky offshore places.

I totally agree!! We ARE the Saudi Arabia of Oil. I know, I know...Saudi Arabia is the real Saudi Arabia of Oil, but we are the Saudi Arabia of Natural Gas and Coal, that is for sure. We could never be the Saudi Arabia of Wind or Solar though. That is just pansy, foo foo environmental whacko stuff.

In honor of Dr. Rand Paul's amazing victory on super Super Tuesday, I am making decision to change Winston's avatar to that of Dr. Rand Paul. Winston has previously expressed his admiration for one Alex Jones. Good ole Alex has even publicly announced his donation to the Paul campaign. Here's a pic I have of the two.

Seeing that Rand Paul has come to the correct opinions with regards to the Civil Rights Act (at least one of the titles), the Fair Housing Act, the American's With Disability Act, the EPA, the Department of Education, Obama-style takeover of our health care system (especially the ramming part of it), etc. etc., I must also assume that Alex Jones shares those views. I have not heard much of Alex, I usually just rely on what Winston tells me. And most of it sounds just plain smart, especially to a rock-ribbed Christian Conservative like me. I also approve of his pointing at the camera. That just looks cool.

I will assume that Mr. Paul will correct his views on Israel, foreign interventions, and a willingness to appear on lefty, lesbian, latte-sipping, limousine liberal shows. He has already done a good job by blaming Rachel Maddow for his failures in the interview the other night. It was abusive to keep asking the same question over and over, especially since Dr. Rand Paul is so clear on the issue.

Clearly, he only has a problem with only one of the titles of the Civil Rights Act. The part about banning discrimination for private businesses. Its only a problem if the federal government does it, that is for sure. Dr. Paul even said he'd have voted for the Act, because the South had all those problems in the 1960's. I'm sure noting the location and timeframe when the racial discrimination took place says absolutely nothing about his views with respect to the Act in the current time and place. Plus, he even said he would have walked hand in hand with MLK had he not been 2 years old. He couldn't walk in a march then, his legs would have been too small. I have taken some of my step-nephews with me to a Tea Party rally, I know how hard it is for the youngins. Plus, they were just terrible the whole time, so that is a mistake I won't make again.

We could start with Miss Lowden, she is not bad looking. Of course if you have followed my very infrequent posts you are aware of my admiration and hots for our two conservative leaders, Sarah and Michelle, as in Palin and Bachman, they might be willing to get on the bandwagon. Research has shown that sexually transmitted deseases are most often passes along by using money for the service. You get your dirty dollars out give them to the lady and then touch each other in the private places. Hello STD's. With chickens to barter you avoid all that and have good clean fun. Maybe a little kinky but that is OK.

This is just a no-brainer to me. There should be no restrictions on gun ownership. None. And that goes for fully-automatic RPG's too. I had a 2nd cousin who had one of those once. Whatever, those are just unnecessary regulations that violated my 2nd cousin's 2nd amendment rights to enjoy heavy artillery, and by proxy, my 1st amendment rights to enjoy the fireworks show.

Now, Obama and his anti-gun minions are taking aim at the NRA. They say its not right to have people on the terrorist watch list to be able to buy guns. Fortunately, we have great patriots like the Sarah Palin saving our freedoms to purchase a cool new Desert Eagle despite being a close associate of the Hutaree militia.

"Don't doubt for a minute that, if they thought they could get away with it, they would ban guns and ban ammunition and gut the Second Amendment," said Palin, a lifelong NRA member who once had a baby shower at a local gun range in Alaska. "It's the job of all of us at the NRA and its allies to stop them in their tracks."

She had a baby shower at a gun range!?!?! No wonder so many Real American men are in love with that woman. That is just a terrific idea to have a baby shower at a gun range. What better way to induce labor than to have some loud and random gun shots while they coo over onesies and play baby name bingo.

The NRA is also getting in on the act to ensure that people on the terrorist watch list WILL be able to buy a couple semi-automatic rifles. They rightly call this "McCarthyism" to take away rights of people who may be innocent of terrorism charges. Never mind that McCarthy was correct for everything he did, and his modern equivalent from Minnesota is honoring his legend. But getting back to the point, its the bad form of "McCarthyism" that could prevent law-abiding citizens to have their fundamental rights violated. This is totally without precedent in today's political environment.

The bad news is that several NRA members are not yet smart enough to figure this out. I'm sure they will be corrected soon, but in the meantime, some evil liberal smear site went out and video taped these folks disagreeing with the NRA platform. They are just misinformed, with the exception of the last guy, who is just plain smart too!!

So I looked up the kind of shoes the cops are looking for and found some pictures. The feather shoe is an obvious metaphor for flying from the law or being a tropical "bird". The Nike Invader shows they are invading the U.S. of A. The high heel beer shoe is a total give away because anyone wearing it would be also be drinking and driving, too, and drinking Mexican beer on top of that as well.

Then John McCain was on tee-vee talked about illegal immigrants "intentionally causing accidents on the freeway." You know it was those beer shoe wearing illegals.

In Nevada U.S. Senate candidate Sue Lowden elaborated on her statements in an appearance Monday on “Nevada Newsmakers,” saying: “Before we all started having health care, in the olden days our grandparents, they would bring a chicken to the doctor." Lowden said Thursday that Harry Reid is trying to make her look bad over remarks suggesting a return to the barter system with doctors. “Harry Reid is trying to change the subject from his 2,700 pages of government-run health care,” she said after a breakfast meeting in Reno.

Ms. Lowden's remarks got me to thinking and I happened to have an appointment with my doctor for a routine check-up. I asked him if he would take my latest crocheted afghan instead of cash. He told me it was good enough for two visits, but if he took it instead of cash, Ima was going to be mad because she tried to pawn off a couple of woven pot holders her grandson made for a boil removal and besides he couldn't eat the afghan. Well, I don't raise chickens any more having moved to town a few years back, but next time I'm going to bring the doctor a big screen TV.

Liberal Show's Racist Slam on RNC Head

If you've been watching the TV these past few days, you'd see that the lamestream media has been trying to paint the tea party movement as a bunch of white, old people who are driven by their distrust of a black President. That is just a bunch of hooey, I can tell you there's no basis for that. Well, if that wasn't galling enough, the lamestream media conveniently ignores blind racism when it originates from the Left. That's right, they always paint the Right as being racist, even though Robert Byrd was in the KKK and Democrats voted against the Civil Rights act. They never mention that, do they!??!?!?!

Anyway, back to my point. Shortly after the stolen ACORN-style election of Barak Hussain Obama, the Republican National Committee (RNC) was in need of a leader. They had a vote between five folks, two of which are African American. Ken Blackwell, who has been praised in a previous CLF post, was up, as was Michael Steele, who ultimately won. I can tell you, there's nothing at all odd about the Republicans having 40% of their candidates being black just because Americans supposedly voted for a black man. The Republicans weren't pandering, they were clearly selecting the most qualified. Proof positive that the Republicans aren't racist.

Michael Steele, for the most part, has proven himself to be a competent manager who can really speak to the people. For instance, he described the new strategy to express conservative principles to a younger audience.....

We want to convey that the modern-day GOP looks like the conservative party that stands on principles. But we want to apply them to urban-surburban hip-hop settings.

He showed his ability to explain complex economic policies, like the fiscal stimulus, in simple, but accurate, terms...

[The Stimulus] is just a wish list from a lot of people who have been on the sidelines for years.. to get a little bling, bling.

After that, he encouraged visitors to the RNC blog to post their comments, asking them "What up?"....

Clearly, Mr. Steele is a man committed to in-depth policy analysis and intellectual debates. His race or possible appeal to other democraphics have nothing to do with his position. Just like when McCain picked Sarah Palin as VP. It was based on her accomplishments, not any demographic concern.

But did this record of accomplishment on the part of Mr. Steele sway the liberal lamestream media establishment? Of course not. One of the favorite shows of the lefty, latte sipping, liberal set is the Daily Show. Recently, the RNC was snared in some liberal trick, in which some RNC funds were directed to some heathenistic erotic show. Clearly, this is the work of a liberal mole. No self-respecting Republican would venture anywhere near such filth.

So of course, the lamestream media jumps all over this non-story, just to make Republicans look bad. And this group of nasty liberals at the Daily Show take the oppurtunity to ridicule Michael Steele. But do they invite him on to explain this non-story? No, they use a muppet to ridicule him further.

Personally, I don't see the resemblance. But whatever. The liberal smear merchants go on to display a bunch of racial stereotypes, such as making muppet Michael Steele say silly things like "hilbidy bilbidy" and "hammertime". Righteous Doctor Not Putting Up With Liberal Takeover of Health Care!!

Well, color me impressed. Finally a doctor brave enough to stand up against Obama's takeover of health care. Good ole Dr. Jack Cassell, a man unwilling to sit idly by while Obama destroys our freedom by ending lifetime caps, getting rid of pre-existing conditions, and discontinuing the practice of recission. He's had it up to here with these dumb Obama voters who are ruining our free-enterprise system that used to be based on the principles of our founding fathers...namely, that private, for-profit insurance companies should be able to act freely within the open confines of the free market. There's simply no other way health care can work.

I for one am all for this policy. I have spent quite a few hours at urologists office, which is how me and my lady learned about my low sperm motility. I would have liked to know that my doctor was smart (i.e. Republican) and also compassionate. Many (i.e. liberals) will try to argue that he is violating his Hippocratic Oath by denying care. I say he is being compassionate and letting patients know what kind of Hell that Obama has unleashed upon our (once) great Republic. Maybe now people will realize that Obama has ruined our health care system, which used to be the greatest in the entire world (prior to March 21, 2010). If all the Obama voters realized that they wouldn't be seen by all the good doctors, then they might vote correctly next time. Preferably for someone who will Repeal and Replace.

Mike Huckabee Was Here!!! Really, He Was!!!!

Hey, did you guys hear the news!?!?!! My all time favorite politician ever, Michael Dale "Mike" Huckabee was here, in Charleston, just yesterday. And to think I totally missed it. He was here for the Massey Energy expo at the Civic Center. My boss would not let me take more than my 35 minute lunch and combine it with my 37.5 minutes of cumulative break time so I could go over there and meet the man who will make history. Very disappointing, but I understand that by not being present in my office for a full day could hurt company profits.

The picture above is not from yesterdays event. No, if Chuck Norris was there WITH Mike Huckabee, I would have snuck out of work. Well, no, I probably wouldn't have. But I would have been REALLY disappointed if I missed them both. I did see good ole Mike when he came down to the Books-a-Million in December 08. I saw the top of his head amongst the throngs of fans who swarmed his bus. Good times. Good times.

Anyway, back to the point of my post. Not only did Massey get to show off its wonderous committment to safety and the environment, but Mike Huckabee showed he's still got political smarts. Here's some of his interview with MetroNews:

"I don't think America is in its last hour," Huckabee said in an interview with MetroNews. "I'm not a doom and gloom guy. I think what we're seeing in the political uproar in this country is indicative that people are ready to take back their country and aren't ready to give up on America."

I totally agree Mike. America is not in its last hour. Although, the socialist fascist Marxist/Leninist in the White House (also a secret Kenyan Moslim) is doing his best to devalue the dollar through large deficits. But Mike can't always speak so openly, like Glenn Beck, as a politician has to be positive and upbeat.

"A lot of times Americans, they hear the worst things about the coal industry from President Obama and a lot of the liberals in Congress," Huckabee says.
"Look, this industry is one of the reasons America can be self sustaining.""Cap and trade, which I like to call cap and tax, is really one more way of the government getting into our pockets. It would create huge costs for every household."

I also call it "cap and tax". I wonder how he heard about that too. Mike and I should totally hang out, we are on the same wavelength. Clearly, he is right. We have an unlimited amount of coal and it is not hurting the environment whatsoever.

"Making it possible with people with developmental disabilities and severe illnesses to be able to access health care, nobody argues we should do that," Huckabee explained. "But we can't do it the way that Congress has proposed because what they're really proposing truly will bankrupt America."
"I'm hoping that members of Congress finally realize that they may want this, President Obama may want this, but 75-percent of the American people do not want this."

I completely agree. Only 25% of Americans wants this health care bill, that's what all the polls say. This health care bill will certainly bankrupt us. Republicans are fiscally conservative, they would never push through a bill people didn't want through a simple majority vote. The gall of these Democrats to ram through this large, throbbing bill down our quivering throats. Its just sinful, really. Shame on the Democrats.

As for future political aspirations, Huckabee says he hasn’t made any decisions about another run for the White House. He says he plans on making that decision after this current election cycle winds down.

Run, Mike, run!!!! And please, choose wisely for VP. May I suggest a Huckabee/Norris ticket?!?!

Jim Bunning, Rand Paul, and a discussion of Libertarianism

In light of the news of our new hero Jim Bunning, former baseball pitcher and all around swell guy, standing up to Obama's economy of reckless spending, I would like to lead into a discourse about the perfect philosophy for everything that is "Libertarianism."

Dr. Rand Paul, son of the very independent and so NOT Republican Dr. Ron Paul, has come out to support Bunning in his efforts to stop unemployment benefits. Unemployment benefits are a form of government activism that entails too much of my tax dollars and desires to keep people unemployed indefinitely. End of story.

Dr. Rand Paul, as you know, is named after novelist Ayn Rand. Ayn Rand wrote fictitious stories about the plights of those who sought moral objectivism for the world around them. Her fiction ultimately created a real life philosophical following. A philosophy that insists that a man's happiness and free markets solve every single problem, which the Paul's have been strong proponents of. It's like taking Stephen King's novel "Carrie" and creating a philosophy to live by after high school bullies poured pig blood all over you. Sometimes it just takes the imagination of a writer to show you what is right and wrong.

Libertarians live by five basic tenants that can never be disputed. First, property is sacred. Above all, a man's home and land are his and his alone. He can do what he wants with them. He can start fires on his lawn if he so chooses or decide to have an elephant as a pet. To deny a man his happiness of fire and large animals is to deny his very being.

Second, any and all government is bad - except cops, the military, and judges. They will solve any dispute anyone has, such as when the man's lawn fire creeps over into his neighbors yard. All the neighbor has to do is go to court and hope the man doesn't have a ton of money for defense lawyers. Usually that is not the case, so problem solved.

Third, capitalism and capitalist are noble heroes. The system of capitalism and those who engage in it create an efficient and fool proof system of economics. When prices on any given product get too high, anyone can simply enter the market, create competition, and voila! prices go down. I mean, it's just that simple. It's only when government sticks their noses in that creates monopolies.

Fourth, worker activism is totally evil. The Corporation creates jobs for people. People should be thankful someone started up a company and gave them a job. End of story.

That brings us to our fifth and final tenant, that the poor are good-for-nothing wastes on society. This is exactly what Bunning and the Paul's are trying to say when they are denying unemployment benefits. Those people are unemployed because they want to be and because they'd rather sit on their fat asses and watch Maury Povich on their big screen TV's all day. This business about unemployment being high right now is just because the Obama Government includes all those people who are no longer looking for work - you know, those who'd rather be lazy! The Bush Administration never included those people in their unemployment numbers because they don't count. That's why unemployment was really low back then.

Whenever someone tries to dispute these five basic tenants of Libertarianism by giving examples of its lack of real world success - like for instance Pinochet's Chile, or deregulation of the financial industry - you must insist that those economies were not free enough. You must inform them that had Chris Dodd and Barney Frank not install Frannie and Freddie, none of the financial collapse would have happened. It was *because* of government interference, that actually caused the collapse. You must insist that because Pinochet was a dictator that he alone caused Chile's huge wealth disparity and annihilation of their middle class. It will only be until there is a completely free market, with absolutely no government interference, that true Libertopia can prosper. This absolutely free and untested economic system has great rhetorical appeal, and will surely win arguments.

So you see why we support Jim Bunning and the Paul's. It's great to have truly independent thinkers like them to change our totally socialist economy.

Hollywood Liberal Activist Attacks Sarah Palin's Family!!!!!

Sorry for the belated post on this topic. I have been working my tail off at the IT Dept. Not only do we have to do unpaid overtime, but they are replacing our 80-20 health insurance plan with a 60-40 one. And they raised the company rates. Its bad now, but I heard it's going to double or triple after they pass this gov't takeover of Medicare. But I digress, since I wanted to talk about Sarah Palin, so here's this post that I have been mulling over for about two weeks.

The hits keep coming. Another kick in the gut. This has been one tough month for this tough mother of five who is definitely not a whiner.

First, mean ole Rahm Emanuel, in a behind the scenes slur of liberal groups, uses the R-word. This slur is reported in some obscure Washington publication. Thank God for Sarah's Facebook page....without it, this slur would never had been heard by 99% of the country.

Then, the liberal media forces Sarah to respond to Rush Limbaugh's deft use of satire. She calmly and reasonably explains that he's a satirist. Thus, you just cannot get offended at a satirist. That would be silly.

Then, her daughter (I forget which one) is told that this heathen show Family Guy viciously attacks Trig Palin. I will spare you the video link, and instead describe the inhumanity on display by the Family Guy "writers". The story involves one of the main characters going out on a date with a girl born with Down Syndrome. Then the girl says that "her mother is the former governor of Alaska"!!!!! I know, how awful, right???!!! Why must they try to link Palin's family with this character who was born with Down Syndrome, going on a date, being self sufficient, and having adult conversations. For the Family Guy "writers" to viciously attack Trig Palin in this way is unforgivable.

Well, even after the Palin's called them out on their insensitivity, the "actor" behind the voice of this character attacks the Palins once again. This liberal activist expresses her disdain for Real Americans by bringing up Trig again.

My name is Andrea Fay Friedman. I was born with Down syndrome. I played the role of Ellen on the "Extra Large Medium" episode of Family Guy that was broadcast on Valentine's day. Although they gave me red hair on the show, I am really a blonde. I also wore a red wig for my role in " Smudge" but I was a blonde in "Life Goes On". I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line "I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska" was very funny. I think the word is "sarcasm".
In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life. My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes.

The audacity to once again attack Trig. No, Andrea, Trig is not a loaf of bread. Shame on you for suggesting that he is. You, for one, should know better that children born with Down Syndrome are to be cherished, and not compared to food. And how dare you attack Sarah Palin's sense of humor?? I am waiting on a former apology to Sarah Palin, her son Trig, and the entire Down Syndrome community by this vicious liberal activist!!!! This, my friends, is the face of liberal Hollywood.

Another Nazi Move by Big Government - The Food Police

You may remember a previous post about the insidious garden planted at the White House. With her “Let’s Move” campaign against childhood obesity, first lady Michelle Obama is taking on a challenge that has eluded the likes of President Dwight D. Eisenhower and Arnold Schwarzenegger, both esteemed Republicans. Some people call her the Food Police. The first lady addressed this by saying that "none of the solutions are about government telling people what to do." She sets forth 3 steps to help families lose weight:

1. Eat dinner together.

2. Set a firm bedtime.

3. Curb TV watching.
If that's not the Government telling us what to do, I don't know what is. If parents want to let their kids eat anything, and sit all day in front of the television set, it’s none of the first lady’s business.
The Obama administration will ask Congress to spend $10 billion over the next decade to give schools more money to serve healthier food, and it will propose $400 million in tax breaks to encourage grocery stores to move into areas with little access to nutritious food, referred to as “food deserts.” I never heard of a food desert before, but it looks like the taxpayers will pay to irrigate it. If people don't want to shop at grocery stores, the government shouldn't make them.

Some of the liberal commentators have indirectly implied that we are opposed to Barack Hussein Obama because he is a person of color. Nothing could be further from the truth and I wish to cite several examples to support my case. First, when Obama debated the GOD serving, America loving, war hero, John McCain, McCain said "that one" when he could have said "that n___r". Second, the "you lie" statement during Obama's address to congress could have been " you lie n___r". Third, the looks of disdain from the esteemed republicans Cantor, Boehner, and McConnell are not anti Obama but rather that someone cut a fart. I could go on and on to make my case but this is enough.

In Defense of Our Defense of Pat Robertson

Some of you might remember a post I submitted not too long ago after the tragedy in Haiti. After the quake struck and so many lives were lost, our favorite Pat Robertson spoke up about the real history of that country (i.e. former slave colony, pact with the Devil, etc.) Of course, the mainstream liberal commie media went all out in demonizing good ole Pat, totally twisting his words to make him appear insensitive. As I pointed out, he was clearly blaming the Devil, not the Haitians. Unfortunately, virtually no one else in Real America (i.e. Red States, Wasilla, etc.) came to Pat's defense. Very sad :(

Although the CLF has developed a faithful following amongst our family and friends, some of whom will be joining us at our yearly Shoney's get-together, the political influence of the CLF has sadly been less than I expected. Well, ladies and gentlemen, that was then...and this is now!!

Exploring the Right Wing Blogosphere
Rightbloggers Keep It Sweet on Haiti -- Unless You Attack Rush, Are Obama, Etc.

The disaster in Haiti has obsessed both mainstream media and bloggers, and for the most part rightbloggers have been exceptionally well-behaved about it. Even some normally obstreperous critics have praised Obama for his interventions, and if they piled on Danny Glover for attributing the quake to global warming, they were at least as likely to pile on Pat Robertson for attributing it to the influence of the Devil.

The Village Voice, which is no doubt a gathering of homosexual deviants, deceptively title their post as a kudos to conservatives for not defending good ole Pat. But not two paragraphs later, they start to mock us few conservative bloggers brave enough to speak the truth, starting with the CLF!!

Robertson was not without backers of an amusing sort. Our favorite was Conservatives Loving Freedom, which said, "People are focusing on the wrong thing. [Robertson] wasn't blaming the Haitians in their time of great tragedy. He was blaming the devil for tricking a few Haitians back in the late 1700's and early 1800's." Noted!

Well, I can see they can't dispute our facts. They dismiss us with the sarcastic ending. I'm claiming victory on this one. Then they go on to attack journalistic stalwarts Rush Limbaugh and Jonah Goldberg. Clearly, Obama was only helping out Haiti to burnish his racial credentials, to divert more tax money over there, and as an excuse to write a Newsweek article. Rush and Jonah know their stuff and are all about accuracy, that is without a doubt.

But having the CLF as an object of ridicule for the heathens at Village Voice was not without its benefits. First, it got us on the national stage. Second, number two, it put us in ideological company with Pat, Rush, and Jonah. And a final point, the third in our list, it provides us with additional information also. Here's another factoid from other real smart conservatives.

Not everyone was blaming the Devil, global warming, and the U.S. government for the devastation. "The reason so many people died in Haiti," said Big Government's Phelim McAleer, "is because its people live in poorly built houses and have not benefited from development which brings with it cities and houses which can withstand earthquakes." Was poverty to blame for this? No: "Guess who are the most active opponents of cities and modern concrete housing? The environmental movement sees cities and growing urbanization as 'unsustainable' and something that must be stopped." We had no idea developers were rushing to built quakeproof condos in Port-au-Prince, only to be foiled by activists from Greenpeace. The internet is a wonderful resource.

The Villagers, again unable to refute these rock solid points, moves to sarcasm. Can they argue without sarcasm. Yeah, right!!! They are just soooo smart, don't ya think?!?! See, liberals, you are not the only ones adept at sarcasm.

Anyway, that smart person at Big Government, which is a great place due to the honest investigative work of James O'Keefe and Andrew Breitbart, points out that its environmentalists to blame. Clearly, environmentalists drove these people off their rural farming communities and into the cities to provide a captive workforce for the multinational textile communities, who paid minimal wages, thus ensuring that they would live in poorly built structures susceptible to collapse. Scott Brown (R-MA) Won and Is Also Super Hot Too

Our fellow tea-bagger and all around super hot guy Scott Brown has won the Massachusetts seat in the Senate. Mr. Brown is a tried and true Independent who wants to change politics as usual and doesn't vote along party lines at all, despite using the (R) beside his name. He is our Palin - independently conservative and beautiful!

Mr. Brown - may I call him Scotty? - I mean, Scotty, is just so seamless and consistent when it comes to politics. He campaigned opposing the current Obama-care policy because it will raise taxes. Duh! This is no way reflects his support for the 2006 Massachusetts law mandating everyone get health insurance because that was the private market dictating coverage - unlike what appears in today's Senate bill. It's just an established fact that insurance companies have had no say in the debate over health care reform now that Socialism is controlling the White House. I mean, even Scotty's quote is very clear:

“In Massachusetts, 98 percent of residents are covered by insurance through our own state reforms. The plan is not perfect, and we need to get costs down, but we have already achieved near-universal coverage. There is nothing for us in a national plan except higher taxes and more spending to finance coverage expansions in other states. It’s a raw deal for Massachusetts,” he said.

Massachusetts plan good, national plan bad. So I can see Scotty's consistent point on that one.

Additionally, my Scotty is not just an Independent, but fiscally conservative. Back in 2001 he justifiably denied financial aid to Red Cross to rescue workers on the 9/11 recovery efforts because at that same time, he had a budget and that budget required unavoidable cuts, not tax-subsidies. Priorities people!

In summation, Scotty's win is a big win for independent thinkers like us here at the CLF. We've achieved in dismantling the one-party rule in Washington, thus eliminating a filibuster proof Congress, and paving the way for a huge comeback in 2012. It also doesn't hurt to be totally hot in a completely tea-bagging kind of way.

In Defense of Ann Coulter

Our friend Pat Robertson isn't the only defender of the right under attack by the liberal media. Ann Coulter has been blasted from the left for turning the issue of aid to Haiti into a political one, decrying President Clinton as "the horny hick" and referring to his involvement in an attempt to help the millions suffering in Haiti as a "shame and embarrassment." Just as the liberals have decried Mr. Robertson, they have gone after Ms. Coulter without fully understanding her. I will attempt to explain.

In her new best seller Guilty, she says "Liberals always have to be the victims, particularly when they are oppressing others. Modern victims aren’t victims because of what they have suffered; they are victims of convenience for the Left." In other words, the liberals think the victims in Haiti are conveniently suffering to promote the liberal agenda. Swiftly, we are propelled from point A to point B. Point A: earthquake running full tilt to point B: political opportunity for liberals. She continues, "There’s no way to determine if an action is offensive by looking at the action. One must know who did it to whom, and whose side the most powerful people in America will take." She means that sending the "horny hick" to Haiti is offensive because powerful liberals sent him, and he will probably do something gross to embarrass the Godly.

In Defense of Pat Robertson

The other day, one of the greatest men in broadcasting, uttered something that many took as being insensitive or even crazy. That man, Pat Robertson, is a good hearted Christian who has done much good in the world. Even Morning Joe, a liberal on that liberal MSNBC, stated as such. From providing gainful employment in Third World countries, to starting up world-class learning institutions (whose former students improve the world for the better), to his deep commitment to ethics and accuracy, Pat has done more good for this world than many realize. I know for a fact that this is why my aunt Mackie has spent large sums funding his (and God's) good causes.

But I find it appalling that people who never watch the 700 Club are all of a sudden up in arms about his comment. You know they got that audio from the gutter snipes at Media Matters or other Soros-funded organizations. They don't understand the context and complexity of what Mr. Robertson said.

ROBERTSON: Something happened a long time ago in Haiti and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French. Napoleon the Third and whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, “We will serve you if you get us free from the prince.” True story. And so the devil said, “OK, it’s a deal.” They kicked the French out, the Haitians revolted and got themselves free.

But ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after the other, desperately poor. That island of Hispaniola is one island. It’s cut down the middle, on the one side is Haiti, on the other side is the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic is prosperous, healthy, full of resorts, etc. Haiti is in desperate poverty. Same island.

They need to have, and we need to pray for them, a great turning to God. And out of this tragedy I’m optimistic something good may come. But right now, we’re helping the suffering people and the suffering is unimaginable.

People are focusing on the wrong thing. He wasn't blaming the Haitians in their time of great tragedy. He was blaming the devil for tricking a few Haitians back in the late 1700's and early 1800's. Clearly, we can go from Point A to Point B on this one. Point A: Haitian slaves revolt against cruel French slaveholders in 1791, defeat the French, accept French demands for reparations, Napolean III and whatever etc. Point B: Great earthquake hits Haiti in 2010. I don't know how much more I can explain the direct connection between the two. If you need more elaboration, you are either Godless or a liberal, which is quite redundant.

So please liberals, do not try to bash good ole Pat on this site, I will not stand for it. Pat was calling for us to pray for the Haitians, which has proven to be quite successful, such as when he encouraged prayers which stopped the nuclear bomb from falling on us in 2007. Pat was blaming the devil, not the Haitians, and his historical account is quite accurate. Pat knows his stuff, and I challenge any one of you to prove otherwise. He proved himself remarkably prescient in a 1992 fundraising letter when he said...

The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians.

Many of our readers here at the CLF have been privately emailing me with questions on how to debate one of those kooky alarmists who think that the Earth is going to end tomorrow because of man. Boy, those end-of-timers really get to me sometimes. So I've compiled a two-way debate between an Alarmist (A) and us smart folks the Skeptics (S) to help many of you out. You're welcome.

A - I’m starting to get concerned. Ice shelves are melting at ever increasing rates. Temperatures around the globe are going up. Carbon dioxide is at or above levels not present in recorded history. It’s become obvious that man is causing or contributing to this crisis. Virtually all of the world’s scientists agree.

S - Global warming is a hoax! It’s a communist conspiracy to destroy our economy. And you are wrong. It is not every scientist. What about Richard Lindzen?!?!

A - Well the IPCC report and peer reviewed studies....

S - Peer review?! What a crock! They are all paid off with grant money. The “real” scientists that aren’t buying the hoax are in no one’s pockets.

A - But we have reliable data that the Earth hasn't warmed this significantly for millions and millions of years and that CO2 levels have been increasing at an alarming rate just this century.

S - What was that? 65 million years ago? How’d they figure out temperatures without a thermometer, genius? Thermometers weren’t invented til 1897 and I didn’t even have to google that..knew it off the top of my head, that is how smart I am!!! What say you....

A - Well we have ice cores, tree rings, etc.....

S - Oh, like that’s real reliable (snark)

A - Well, the IPCC is in, and the US and even the Bush administration admitted, with over 90% certainty, that man is responsible for global warming and the link between CO2 and rising temperatures.

S - Ok, ok, ok.... global warming may be happening, but its not by man!! Solar activity is to blame, along with cows, dinosaur flatulence, and other stuff. All the real scientists know better. Plus, you look at the ice ring data and it shows that the global warming alarmists are wrong.

A - I thought you just said ice cores weren't reliable?

S - Nuh-uh, look at the evidence. 1934 was the warmist year ever!!!!

A - That’s for the US, not globally.

S - Well look at the first 1/4 of this year, temperatures were below average!!! And it's darn cold outside my front door in Charleston, WV. I guess it's global cooling now... hahaha!

A - That’s just for the United States...but globally, temperatures are up, especially at the poles.

S - Well you aren’t up on your science. Look, they are now saying that its all a cycle. Greenland used to be a lovely, green, hospitable island 1000 years ago. Since then it's been a frozen wasteland. Now it's going back to a better, warming place.

A - Greenland is just one small region, we can't use that to represent global change...but also, Greenland's ice cap is hundreds of thousands of years old and covers over 80% of the island. The vast majority of land not under the ice sheet is rock and permafrost in the far north. It could not have been that different just 1,000 years ago. Besides, the historical evidence showed that the Vikings lived a harsh and meager existence on that island, which disputes your claim that Greenland was lush.

S - You calling me a lush!!! I quit that stuff since I turned myself to God; who, by the way, you obviously do not believe. Man is not God, he could not have changed the climate. Besides, it was probably HAARP that did it.

A - HAARP is a US government program that sends high energy into the atmosphere that some suggest is part of the Star Wars defense system. So, you're saying that Man IS God.

S - Nuh uh, its all a hoax!!! It's all to enrich Gorey and his Ilk. It's a global conspiracy to put us all under one-world government and to ration energy sources. Case closed.

A - I'm rendered speechless at your stu...

Obama's Citizenship In Question

One of the most important legal cases in the history of our republic will be heard on January 10th, 2010. The long-questioned citizenship of Barack Hussein Obama, a very attractive KENYAN native, will finally be settled. For the past twelve months, conservatives have rightly questioned whether or not the president is or is not a U.S. national.

Unquestionable sources, like attorney Orly Taitz, have time and again produced multiple Kenyan birth certificates for our usurper-in-chief. No matter how sexy he may be, if he is not a U.S. citizen by birth, he does not qualify for the office of President of the United States.

His aged grandmother, a Kenyan native, has said that Mr. Obama was born in Kenya. While such an advanced age has led to confusion in others, Obama's paternal grandmother is certainly NOT senile. Old people in Kenya would certainly NOT lie for a few American dollars to keep them from eating thin, watery corn gruel passed out by aid workers.

Following a certain verdict that will nullify the election results and embarass the Democratic Party for not dong their homework and paying off as many Kenyan offiicials as Orly Taitz, I wonder what kind of position America will be left in. Vice President Biden may become president, but conservatives could always challenge this as fruit of the poisonous tree. If Obama was not a viable candidate for the presidency, all votes of the Electoral College would have gone to the mccain/PALIN ticket. As John McCain is a member of the Senate, our heroine, Assembly of God ambassador and foreign policy master Sarah Palin would be the rightful President of these States United.

Surely, Mrs. Palin's resignation from the insignificant post of Governor of Alaska was meant to free her up for this verdict. This will pave the way for Todd Palin, who NEVER had a bi-curious moment when our snowmobile stalled out near Anchorage (I'll never forget the sting of his goatee against my face in this NON-TRUE moment of bliss), to become the first "First Dude". He's far more attractive than Michelle Obama.

But let's not forget that SanFran Pelosi, Harry Sneeze, and Barack Hussain Obama should get partial congratulations for their wilting stance and slide to the center-right yet again. I can't tell you how gracious I am for the Demoncrats to not only look for compromise with us (since we are always compromising with them), but to simply throw out one of their stupid big ideas altogether. Now, some of you may say... what about Medicare being available to 55 year olds now? Well, just watch that go in the tank because that will break it and it just isn't sustainable - unlike the private insurance industry where the market always does what's right.

Even I was not aware of the dangers of frontal hugging amongst our non-married community. Frontal hugging is just a gateway to more sinful behavior, such as necking and hand holding. A Refutation of Heathen Lies

Lately I've been going to lunch with various co-workers at my IT department. I used to eat out of my lunch box prepared every morning by my lady. However, since the recent layoffs, we have had several weeks of unpaid overtime, so a few of us have decided to take advantage of our 30 minute lunch break. Usually we head over to the nearby Subway as my lady wants me to eat healthy. I usually get the 12 inch meatball with mayo and spicy mustard. I keep away from the cookies most days as I am quite health conscious.

Anyway, our lunch time discussions have changed from friendly to heated. Mainly, its because a couple co-workers are misguided heathens. They prove their heathen-ness by their consistent refusal to admit America was founded as a Christian Nation.

I have tried my best to see the error in their ways, but even cold hard facts can't convince them.

I ask them "what part of 'In God We Trust'" do they not understand. They respond with some mumbo jumbo about that God put on money well after this country's founding and in the Pledge in the 1950's at the peak of anti-communist fever. I say, whatever, its on the money and in the Pledge, so you can't argue with facts. The inception dates do not matter, so case closed on that one.

Then they talk about how many founders were not even Christians, many were Unitarian or Deists. Well, I have never heard of Deists, so that does not change my views in the least. As for Unitarians, I didn't even know they were still around. I have been told they were a liberal church, so I don't see how they could be called Christian. Really, how can you be a liberal and a Christian? I'm sure others have had difficulty grasping this contradiction.

After destroying their arguments one by one, I directed these heathens to a very smart man by the name of David Barton and his excellent WallBuilders site. Mr. Barton has set out to spread the unerring truth that the founders were all evangelical Christians. He even has quotes and beautiful prints proving his points. Here's one of Washington ushering Lincoln up to Heaven..

Mr. Barton has some excellent quotes that are irrefutable. My favorite is one that has been put on the Jefferson Memorial. The important quote is in bold and large font. Don't bother reading the smaller font, its not important.

This quote makes it clear as day that Jefferson was a full blown Christian, which directly infers that this country was and is a Christian nation.

It's the tree huggers that are bringing us down by allowing the rest of the trash get away with whatever they feel like.

Finally, real Americans push back against the liberal evolutionists who are trying to indoctrinate our children with bogus science.

Seems that some secular progressive Commies are pushing the Darwinist Evolutionism lie in order to indoctrinate our children at the movie theaters. And they are doing this through a movie called "Creation" that is all marketed to get children rushing to the movies. Given its plot line ("English naturalist Charles Darwin struggles to find a balance between his revolutionary theories on evolution and the relationship with religious wife, whose faith contradicts his work."), clearly this was geared towards children, not like the things promoted by Ken Ham and other real smart folks.

Despite the horrendous persecution of us Christians here in the U S of A, we actually have some pull with movie distributors. As the UK telegraph reports,

A British film about Charles Darwin has failed to find a US distributor because his theory of evolution is too controversial for American audiences, according to its producer.

....US distributors have resolutely passed on a film which will prove hugely divisive in a country where, according to a Gallup poll conducted in February, only 39 per cent of Americans believe in the theory of evolution.

That heathen director had some not so nice words about it. Too bad, heathen, the US is a Christian nation, and if you don't like it, you can move back to the UK!!

Some smarty-pants has been coming on the CLF site and giving us a hard time about our health care plan. Well, for one, its better than ObamaCare as we laid out in a very long piece that this smarty-pants probably didn't read. And next, number two, most people agree with us that we need to keep the government out of our health care. One of our oldest members, Maek, has been on Medicare for nearly 20 years and is just scared to death that Obama's government bureaucrats are going to get their government hands on his health care. I for one am not just going to let Obama do that without a fight!!

Good thing a majority (47%) now opposes ObamaCare. And 39% want government out of our Medicare, with another 15% that could be persuaded to our line of thinking.

Lately the liberals and Socialist/Fascist/Marxists have been complaining that the good conservatives don't have a health care plan. Well that is just a bunch of hooey! We have plenty of ideas that have been promoted, such as saying NO!! to a socialist government takeover of our Medicare. The White House has gone so far as to create an enemies list of health care opponents. That is just outrageous and there was nothing like that in the Bush Administration that is for sure.

The White House has also laid out three sets of eight points on health care, which is kind of ironic that they chose 3 8's. Seems like they should have chose three sets of six points, if you get my drift. And I think you do. Anyway, we here at the CLF have modified their points to craft our own agenda, and one that I think will catch on with the hard-working folks that dominate these town meetings. Its amazing that they are able to attend all these daytime meetings, what with their job schedules and money spent by their grassroots efforts to buy ad space at a moments notice.

Anyway, here is our completely original plan, with some much-needed editing of that Socialist Leninist ObamaCare plan pushed by that Kenyan Moslim in the White House.

1. End Discrimination for Pre-Existing Conditions: Insurance companies will be ~~prohibited~~ prevented on a voluntary basis from refusing you coverage because of your medical history.

Making things voluntary is best as business works best under the unrestricted confines of a truly free market. There should be no penalties if an insurance company does not comply with this voluntary provision, but may incur harsh scolding. Discrimination still permitted for all persons suspected of being or resembling an illegal immigrant.

2. Tort Reform to Cut Costs. Also Something Called Portability. ~~Ends Exorbitant Out-of-Pocket Expenses, Deductibles or Co-Pays: Insurance companies will have to abide by yearly caps on how much they can charge for out-of-pocket expenses.~~

Tort Reform NOW!! Bogus lawsuits are what causing all the costs to go up, which forces these good Americans at Cigna to pass on these costs via deductibles and co-pays. These may be ended when a reasonable cap on injury or death, such as the 250k proposed by tort reformers, is put in place.

3. Ends Cost-Sharing for ~~Preventive Care~~ Illegal Immigrants: Insurance companies must ~~fully cover, without charge, regular checkups and tests that help you prevent illness, such as mammograms or eye and foot exams for diabetics~~ refuse to pay for any health care to illegals. That, and lawsuits, is what is driving up costs, that is a fact!!

4. Ends ~~dropping of Coverage~~ ObamaCare death panels for Seriously Ill: ~~Insurance companies~~ Obama will be prohibited from ~~dropping or watering down insurance coverage~~ euthanizing Grandma and Trig Palin, as well as for those who become seriously ill.

5. Ends Gender Discrimination Against Males: Insurance companies will be prohibited from ~~charging you more~~ infringing on your God-given rights of dominion over family members because of your male gender.

Unmarried women and their progeny will not be covered, which will end the discrimination against men. Married women will be covered under their husbands' or fathers' policies. Homosexuals, union members, community organizers, and ACORN activists will not be eligible for health insurance.

6. Ends ~~Annual or Lifetime~~ Cap~~s on Coverage~~ and Tax/Trade: ~~Insurance companies will be prevented from placing annual or lifetime caps on the coverage you receive.~~ Cap and Tax/Trade will be eliminated, because its another socialistic boondoggle meant to enrich Gorey and his ilk. The actual effect of Cap and Tax/Trade on health care costs is uncertain and beyond the scope of this bill, but warrants mentioning anyway.

7. Extends Coverage for Young Adults in traditional, God-fearing families led by legal citizens: Children would continue to be eligible for family coverage through the age of 26. Only children of married, working parents will be covered in order to exclude illegals, because illegals don't work and just get welfare somehow.

8. Guarantees Insurance Renewal and Patient/Doctor Relationship: Insurance companies will be required to renew any policy as long as the policyholder pays their premium in full. ~~Insurance companies won't be allowed to refuse renewal because someone became sick.~~

Insurance companies cannot force policy holders to renew the policy and you can choose your doctor. Keeping some government bureaucrat out of the patient/doctor relationship is the first concern. Your doctor will be required to comply with whatever constraints your insurance company deems necessary. Doctors should continue to consult with claims adjusters to ensure that the proposed treatments or procedures are within the policy guidelines. Said guidelines will still be written solely by insurance companies under no constraint or regulation given our commitment to truly free markets. Failure to comply with said constraints supersedes the first sentence of this paragraph, which may result in your exclusion from the policy. Even if this happens, as long as we have a truly free market, competitive insurance companies will just suddenly pop up, thus insuring those that are excluded.

The past few weeks have shown what a grassroots, horizontal, spontaneous uprising of totally independent citizens groups can do. These patriotic Americans have done us all the good service of demanding of our Democrat congresspeople about important things that impact all of us, like Obama's refusal to show his birth certificate, or the incontrovertible fact that ObamaCare has a provision that creates a death panel that will probably elect to kill your grandparent/great aunt/developmentally disabled child. As the very smart Sarah Palin (R - Everywhere) put it recently on the ultra-professional social networking site Facebook....

The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

Well I for one am not just going to stand pat while Obama tries to ration health care from Trig Palin. Sarah just goes to show how classy and down-home American she is. She is like the friendliest politician (after Mike Huckabee), so you know Obama must really be doing something real bad for Sarah to make a big deal about it. And how dare Obama specifically attack little Trig by having several committees in Congress write various versions of a bill that is yet to be written or fully debated, the details of which have been explained to us by serious and dedicated journalists like Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck. Thank God for these great Americans. Without them, we might not know all the facts.

And in honor of Mrs. Palin's call to action (read her post, it gives credit to Michelle Bachmann!!), me and other members of the CLF made a visit to our local congresspersons office and spoke to a very nice but not very helpful staffer. This despite our busy work schedules and various doctor visits. Michelle was even able to make a few posters for our trip! I hope to have the rush transcript of that up soon. However, I think Marvene is typing it up, and she's a real stickler for grammar and spelling, so it may take a while to get the transcript up. Some of you may remember a recent post of mine attacking supposed polling of alleged scientists and their reported opinions on social topics. Therein, the radical liberal views of scientists, like believing in the global warming hoax, was promoted. At first, I doubted that these numbers were true, given the dominance of Rush Limbaugh listeners in the vicinity of my cubicle at the IT department. However, with the appointment of John Holdren to dark-lord science Czar, I fear that the evil forces promoting the evolutionism lie are winning out.

Seems this guy, Holdren, supported radical measures in a book he cowrote called Ecoscience. That right there tells me he's a radical eco-nut who loves trees more than people. And that's proven by several lines included in this 1000 page book he cowrote with 2 other people. And the smart folks at the totally not radical Washington Times have exposed his radical agenda.

John P. Holdren, named as Mr. Obama's science "czar" earlier this year, described this in a book he wrote with Paul Ehrlich -- author of the "Population Bomb," which predicted masses would starve due to exploitation of resources through the 1980s -- about the world's rapidly increasing population. In the 1977 tome "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment," Mr. Holdren and Mr. Ehrlich, in addition to Mr. Ehrlich's wife, Anne, considered various ways to keep growth in check.

Several selections from the book have been highlighted at blogs critical of Mr. Holdren, particularly passages that appear to advocate sterilization, forced abortions and consideration of an "armed international organization, a global analogue of a police force" for population enforcement capabilities.

And this is the man that Barak Hussain Obama wants to install as a Czar over science. A czar is like a Russian dictator, which means Barak is a commie, and appointing czars is something that no president ever did before now.

This radical agenda, promoted only 32 short years ago in a book 1000 pages long coauthored by 2 other people in a section in one chapter about options for population control, clearly shows that Holdren was all for forced abortions. Where are our heroes like Tom Delay who would surely show Holdren the righteous path? There's no other explanation and these comments by Holdren (or his coauthors) in a few paragraphs in which these measures are not recommended but just described, should be ridden out on a rail, along with the Kenyan (or Zanzibarian) Barak Hussain Obama!!!

Brownback has sponsored a bill (which elicited the signatures of 20 more Republicans and the likes of John McCain) to prevent combining human DNA with animal DNA in the laboratory to create hybrid beings. Last November, Senators Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., and Sam Brownback, R-Kan introduced the Human-Animal Hybrid Prohibition Act, S. 2358, to prevent the crossing of humans and animals because it unethically "[blurs] the line between human and animal." They are obviously on to something but may be too late as evidenced by the photographs I have obtained.

Hello. My name is Winston Mullens. I am glad to join fellow conservatives using freedom. I am a life-long Republican; a believer in small government, family values, creation, and the right to bear arms. Especially at abortion clinics.

Today, fellow conservatives, I want to warn you of humanity's most grave threat. In 1993, NASA discovered the existance of Planet X, at the time considered to be a benign planet just outside of our solar system. NASA, under the liberal leadership of the evil, sex crazed, amazingly handsome William Jefferson Clinton, took little notice of this supposed planet tumbling towards our own. NASA stopped answering questions about this issue in 1997, a point that will be important later.

Under the smart, steady leadership of President George W. Bush, we discovered many things about the lack of importance of public opinion on government, the lack of importance in international opinion in international matters, and how high government spending can be a conservative ideal, as long as it's about bombing people who are different than us. However, even the good President Bush could not re-direct the liberal, atheistic, evolution believing NASA into continued investigation into the greatest threat to mankind.

Biblical prophecy tells us the end of the world is near. My Assembly of God church,which Reggie should join, knows that the end is near, as does Sarah Palin. Even the ignorant, pagan Mayan Indians saw that the end of the world would come in 2012.

I am here to tell you of the impending doom of humanity. Planet X is not a planet. It is a small, unignited star headed towards our planet. Stars such as these are known as brown dwarfs. As any astrophysicist will tell you, most solar system are binary in nature. This means that in any given solar system, there are two stars, not one. Our second star is Nibiru, the bringer of disaster. Nibiru passes through our orbit once every 3,600 years. The last time Nibiru came through our part of the galaxy, it destroyed a planet, which is now the asteroid belt past Mars, tilted the Earth's axis, and caused the Great Flood that Noah saved humanity from.

Take note and remember my fellow CLF readers: Mike Huckabee will be a major contender for POTUS in 2012. Why do you think he (and his bass guitar) got a FOX news talk show right now... to garner major public appeal - duh! Plus, he's just plain smart. Personally, I am split on whether or not I think Mike Huckabee or Michele Bachmann is the better candidate for President in 2012. Actually, I'm thinking Huckabee w/ Bachmann as Vice would be a killer ticket, now that I think about it.

Now that was just an amazingly beautiful piece right there. I can just picture him playing in arena filled revivals all across our Appalachian country. I really liked all the chord changes. Ron Paul is a true conservative. Through and through. That just had to be said again. That's why libertarians are conservatively consistent, sound, logical, simplistical, and not like Bush. But the liberal media and hollyweird just love it when true conservatives are made fun of. As in the new "Bruno" movie. I'm sure the liberals were hoping that they could get something to burn Ron Paul with.

It appears most of today's so-called comedy loves to attack conservatives. Except that one show on Fox news where they were masters of satire, "The 1/2 Hour News Hour." As for liberals, they get off lightly. Just compare the kind of "comedy" about Bush vs. the kind of "comedy" against Obama. With Bush it was a no holds barred hit, but with Obama, not so much. It's because Bush was just too smart while Obama is an easy target so they have to sympathize... like not attacking retarded people because that's just way too easy.

I love Ron Paul because he is totally on target when he says that government run-socialized-and thus rationed-healthcare is "not a right." It's only a right if you are a member Congress and get government healthcare from tax payers. Besides, healthcare is just like a cellphone, or a big screen TV.

The headline is very misleading. When I saw it at the bottom of Drudge, I was thinking "good, people are finally waking up and not paying attention to science". Science is, after all, what has given us the evil religions of evolutionism and global warming alarmism. Still, I know several real smart people, some even trained in classical sciences like finance and hotel/restaurant management, and I can vouch that they are nearly all good, conservative, and Christian. But what this poll showed was just so out there it must be totally a lie. First, here's a scientists view on government (i.e. socialism) versus business (i.e. free market):

What a load of hoo-ey. Business is always more efficient and government is always more wasteful. That is just the facts. I thought scientists operated on the scientific method. So, from employing the scientific method myself, I have totally destroyed these polling numbers and exposed them for the lies that they are.

Next, numbers on the views of scientists.

Just more hoo-ey if you ask me. Smart scientists like Ken Ham know better. This is why we need to eliminate public schools for indoctrinating us into the lie that is the evolutionism lie. Maybe we can get our own advocate in our public schools like Texas might have. If only we could take these scientists to the Creation Museum and meet real smart folks like Ken Ham, I think we'd see these numbers drop sufficiently. But these numbers are lies anyway.

The end is the kicker and I think more proof that this "poll" was concocted by the liberal elist media.

Double hoo-ey!!!1!! 52% of scientists are liberal!?!? 35% are moderate?!?! Only 9% are conservative?!?!?! Just made up numbers, all of them. True science types, like Ken Ham and Bjorn Lomborg and Richard Linzen, are proof in the pudding that these numbers are inflated. What about Inhofe's 400 scientists that disprove global warming? Michele Bachmann says she's so worried that information from next year's national census will be abused that she will refuse to fill out anything more than the number of people in her household. In an interview Wednesday she said, "I know for my family the only question we will be answering is how many people are in our home. We won't be answering any information beyond that, because the Constitution doesn't require any information beyond that." She is afraid ACORN will mobilize as census workers and stuff voter registration. I am more worried even than Ms. Bachmann We all know the government is collecting information on us to use against us. I have to go to a gun show right now!

Well, I am not surprised Michelle Obama would be attacking job-creators in industry, what with her past ties to Black Panther radicals and terrorist fist-bumping sympathizers. She has set her sights on the good folks in conventional agriculture by planting an organic garden. Organic gardening is just another activity promoted by the latte sipping limosene liberals that have never put in a hard days work spraying weed killer on their Miracle Grow.

Excuse me for saying this, but this organic fad is just a bunch of cow manure, and I mean that in a literal sense. Without conventional agriculture, we would have starving people all over the world, something we definitely don't have, at least not in this country. Conventional agriculture has allowed us to increase food yields and have resulted in no environmental degradation or bad health effects whatsoever. Plus, bees like it too.

Fortunately, we have smart folks at the American Council on Science and Health to help combat this affront on our freedom. Jeffrey Stier, the very smart spokesman of the ACSH, put it well:

Bee interviewed Jeffrey Stier, associate director of the council, who referred to the Obamas as “organic limousine liberals.”

“I think the Obama garden should come with a warning label,” he continued. “It’s irresponsible to tell people that you should have to eat organic and locally grown food. Not everyone can afford that. That’s a serious public health concern.”

His reasoning: “People are going to eat fewer fruits and vegetables. Cancer rates will go up. Obesity rates will go up. I think if we decide to eat only locally grown food, we’re going to have a lot of starvation.”

Cancer. Obesity. Starvation. That's what you get from eating organic, I can attest to that. Conventional agriculture, using crop protection products (not pesticides), is the only way to simultaneously battle the scourges brought forth by mutating tissue cells, overeating, and undereating.

Plus, on top of that, its additionally an affront to our freedoms, also. The Obama's have no right to tell us what to eat. Putting up an organic garden, which produces fat, starving people, without a fair and balanced conventional garden (using crop protection products manufactured by the friendly job creating folks at Bayer), is just taking away our choices. Having the choice of an organic garden will destroy the chemical industry, thus taking away the other choice. Don't you see, this liberal choice will be shoved down our throats, thus reducing our other choices because the chemical industry won't be permitted to monopolize agriculture as they should be allowed to under a truly free market.

Its the same thing with socialized medicine pushed by the Obama Marxist Socialist Fascists. Giving people the option of a public plan will destroy the private insurers. Thus, giving us more choices just reduces our choices in the end. If you can understand this, then you can see how organic gardening will produce starving fat people. If you can't understand it, perhaps the following real news clip will educate you. If that fails, then you are a dirty hippie liberal.

One of the greatest conservative thinkers of our time, Pat Buchanan, has written a book entitled, Churchill, Hitler, and "The Unnecessary War": How Britain Lost Its Empire and the West Lost the World" in which he postulates that Hitler had no intention of invading Britain and Churchill made a slew of blunders. He asks, "Where is the evidence that Hitler intended to make Britain a slave state?" Therefore, Britain and eventually America fought an unnecessary war. Everything would have been different. The USSR would never have become a superpower and Britain and America would have ruled the West without having to battle communism all those years. There would be no Israel and pretty much no Jews. Therefore, peace in the Middle East and no need for the Gulf War or the Iraq War. Japan would have ruled over China so no Korean War or Vietnam War. What a wonderful world! Recently, I and some other forward-thinking conservatives have been concerned with Obama's food choices. Particularly, with regards to his burger orders. As you all remember, he ordered spicy or dijon mustard with his burger. Dijon. Dijon!! Just goes to show he prefers the Moslims and French over us. Well, now we have yet another time when Obama mugs for the cameras and on-lookers at a burger place. And yet another weird, foreign type order.

The jacketless commander in chief began ordering with his preference -- "one cheeseburger and one fries for me. Jalapeno, tomato, mustard. ... Plus lettuce." -- as aides Reggie Love and Marvin Nicholson passed along to him requests from the crew.

Jalepenos are just more proof to support the facts that he's a secret Moslim. And also that he is all for illegal immigration. Foreign types like spicy food. Now don't get me wrong, I do appreciate hot sauce and hot wing sauce (not atomic). I think I got that from my heritage, as my great aunt on my stepdad's side was quarter Cherokee. But jalepenos are from Mexico, and so is Tequila, and I had some bad experiences with Tequila. Add that onto the fact that illegal immigration (along with ACORN and Chris Dodd) are singularly trying to destroy the fabric of America, and you can see how I can not just go along with this jalepeno order.

Don't get me wrong, I am not conspiratorial and I don't think Obama would intentionally hurt America. But as the straight-down-the-middle independent Bill O'Reilly intimates, Obama may have his heart in the right place, but he is being pushed by some radical, mysterious forces from an ambiguous source that may, or may not, include elements originating around or near the approximate boundaries of those that attacked us on 9-11. Now we have no specific evidence of that, but I'm just putting it out there. But soon enough, someone will repeat it, thus enforcing my original comment, until enough people think it makes sense and we can be justified in impeaching Obama. Clearly someone who's a Frenchy Maxist Socialism Secret-Moslim, we on the right are being kind in encouraging a resignation or impeachment. I know you might not have heard from the Republican calls for impeachment, but you will. You will.

A totally unbiased and statiscally in depth analysis was conducted by some guys at George Mason University called "Freedom In the 50 States: An Index of Personal And Economic Freedom." Basically, it shows us what the freest states are!

No surprise that "according to the authors of the study, while conservative states do perform better than liberal ones, it is moderately conservative states which are in fact the freest."

You hear that liberals, conservative states are just plain freer, and that's a proven fact now!

In keeping with my previous post on Michael Dale "Mike" Huckabee and his stinging rebuke of Fancy Nancy Pelosi, I must give a hand to another great conservative politician....Michele Marie "Michele" Bachmann

....She is just all kinds of awesome, so I can see how our Michelle with the CLF just loves this Michelle with the USHOR. I know some of you are asking "Why isn't Michelle posting about Michele Bachmann?" Well, for one, Michelle is away on a family vacation this weekend. And number two, I have authority as unitary president under the CLF charter to do anything I dang well please. Got that Oma?

Mrs. Bachmann's awesomeness has been extensively documented in the CLF blog as well as other sources on the internets. I would rather not retread her greatest hits, but show people her total destruction of that one-man economy wrecking crew....Barney Frank. Most of you know that Barney Frank singularly (along with Chris Dodd) wrecked the economy because they were totally against regulating Fannie and Freddie, and that is the complete reason the economy collapsed under Obama. Case closed on that one.

But many don't know that Barney Frank almost became Barak Hussain Obama's running mate. Ole Barry figured as a black secret-Moslim, there would be people upset at him and may try to shoot at him. What better way to deter those attempts by putting a gay Jew on the ticket? That way the God-fearing would figure, get rid of one, the other is just as bad. Anyway, this plan was scrapped when Joe Biden had his Illuminati pals at the Federal Reserve push B. Hussain Obama into picking him. But that is another story for another time.

Anyway, back to Michele. She was just on that C-Span TV show destroying Barney Frank and his Taxachussets values. Lets watch.

Wow, Michele just totally hands it to Barney with her extensive knowledge of House rules. Barney is not very gentlemanly for sure as he just won't yield even though Michele asks very nicely. I guess chivalry is dead, and a gay Jew killed it apparently. Gay Jews had something to do with killing Jesus too. Coincidence?

Now here's Michele on Lou Dobbs, destroying Barney Frank once again. Geez, does this guy know when to give up?

Kudos Michele for exposing ACORN and Obama's attempts to funnel billions on dollars to an organization that was engaging in vote fraud to destroy the fabric of our democracy. Clearly, if there's one indictment of a member of an organization, that should bring down the entire organization.

I can't believe with as long as the CLF has been active, I have yet to have a post on the best post-Reagan politician yet to grace us....Michael Dale "Mike" Huckabee.

First of all, he is just plain smart.

Second, he is a Christian conservative through and through, and also has suffered with excessive weight gain (EWG), which I am currently afflicted with. He has provided me with a clear path away from this affliction, one in which I vow to start following soon.

Third, he is against the IRS and embraces the Fair Tax, which is fair, because it says so.

On top of that, number four, he is an accomplished musician and bassist. Bassists are typically the coolest and most popular member of any band, that is an established fact! Check him out here playing Freebird, my all time favorite song.

Note that Freebird is an unofficial song of the CLF, and will likely become THE official song of the CLF pending the required meeting with a sufficient number of principals. Oma, I am hoping you will change your mind. If we fail to get the two votes necessary to break the tie, Marvene may win out with He Touched Me.

Recently, Huckabee has been applying his musical talents to the field of politics, with this absolute destruction of Nancy Pelosi and her San Francisco values. I can't wait to hear his prose sung to Huckabee's smooth bass lines. I am thinking Scott Stapp or maybe Weiland would be best to sing this. Those are just some awesome lyrics and totally in meter. He is also so right on so many points, Nancy is a ruthless politician, but fancy and always "tweaking" things on her face if you know what I'm getting at. Fancy Nancy just displays San Francisco values, which is all about of the feminizing and homosexualizing of America. She is not just trying to destroy American families, but now the CIA too. What did the CIA and the Bush Administration ever do to hurt or mislead anyone? Nothing, that is what, that is just crazy talk.

Clearly, this issue has nothing to do with what was done a handful of times for a short period of time by a few bad applies. Its all about what Nancy Pelosi knew and when she knew it. It is clear that this fancy San Francisco grandma who has an affinity for plastic surgery should be the focal point of an investigation that, until recently, was veering into the totally unimportant meme of how certain abusive interrogation techniques were used, without consent and in direct conflict with criminal law, to produce false confessions to justify a war.

Dijon mustard!?!?!?! Dijon?!?!?! Spicy was bad enough, not putting on ketchup was bad enough, but to order French style mustard on his burger was just an affront to every basic American tenant. If you want mustard, order American mustard, like this ---------------------------------->

Not some namby pamby Dijon stuff that some effete French elitist would put on his Croissant. That is the last thing I want as President. I want a President who puts ketchup on his Croissandwich. I want a President who's not afraid to dip his Freedom Fries in his mayo.

Well I was writing my monthly donation to that Presbyterian Church downtown (along with many other donations to many other churches - no worries my faithful Baptists on Campbell's Creek) and as I was exiting my 1998 Lincoln Continental from the church parking lot I saw the "sign!" And it was on my check!!!

Hath the lord strike on me a message or warning of some kind? Or was it the work of the devil himself? Well then I said, I wrote it for a reason and had no idea if that check number was on there until after I wrote it. So that right there tells me it was meant to be since I love God instead. So be it, I said, and I deposited that check right there into that donation box. No fear.

One time, Reggie had a similar occurrence. He went to the Subway and ordered a Sub Club with cookie and a drink. The cashier, who was obviously homo and flaming, screamed "Oh my God!!" when he saw that the purchase totaled $6.66. So the god-fearing homo cashier added a penny to the order, making the new total $6.67. Reggie got rightfully furious over this obvious attempt to steal his money and sued the Subway company for theft. Reggie won the case, a penny, but has yet to see the $55 in court costs still owed. Reggie plans to file a lien on Subway Co. in case they go under like all the businesses will under Obama-nation.

Debate Primer - Global Warming

Hello all. I hope you have been catching up with the latest posts here at CLF. Michelle has been putting up some excellent video of some of our greatest Republican stars in their fight against the evils of the global warming alarmacists. First, there was good ole Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee letting Gorey have it with rock-solid proof that he is only pushing this cap-n-trade stuff so he can profiteer. Then there's Michelle's personal favorite, Michelle Bachmann of Minnesota, who blows the lid off the global warming crazies with some indisputable facts that CO2 occurs in nature. Its amazing how reducing an argument to the simplest points can really be effective.

Anyway, these videos display two tactics in our three pronged approach at defeating the enviro-wackos who want to destroy our economy. I truly think our economy would not be in as bad a shape as it is if it wasn't for these crazies trying to push cap-n-trade. Well, there is still Barney Frank and Chris Dodd to blame, but the psychological aspects of getting off oil is probably enough to scare Wall Street a good bit. But lets get back to the prongs...

Prong 1: Claim Earth is not warming. This is most effective when it is cold outside, like the past 2 Winters we've had in the valley. This way we can talk about how all those scientists were worried about Global Cooling, like, 2 years ago. And when its cold here, it doesn't matter if there are heat waves in the Southern Hemisphere or ice shelves dislodging from Antarctica. All politics is local.

Prong 2: Admit Earth is warming, but not because of CO2. When the Summer comes, prong #1 must be discarded as all politics remains local. However, there's a treasure trove of things to blame for any warming: solar radiation, natural cycles, methane from cows, etc. Be sure to mention that Greenland was called Greenland because it was green, which means that it was much warmer, and thus greener, when Greenland was first named Greenland. I hope you follow me, I know this can get a little hairy.

Prong 3: Take no position on whether the Earth is warming or cooling, simply deflect to a boogeyman. A good person to attack is Al Gore, or Gorey, as some real smart people call him. Gorey is always flying around in fancy jets and using lots of energy in his mansions. I also heard a story that Gorey used to kill puppies for fun and burned them in a coal-fired incinerator he had in his basement. I would like Gorey to explain to me how puppy exhaust can be good for the environment, but driving my SUV is somehow sinful. Also talk about carbon credits, or cap-n-trade, and how it is just a clever ruse for Gorey to enrich himself while the lights go out and everyone has to fell all the trees just to heat their houses due to the Global Cooling (see Prong 1).

I have summarized this debate methodology in the following graphical illustration.

Whenever one debate tactic fails or is inconvenient, simply go to another tactic, or prong. And all prongs can be supported by the totally consistent fact that dinosaur flatulence caused warming and produced CO2 levels way beyond what we see now. The dinosaurs liked it warm. But that was way back in history, like over 4000 years ago, which was near the beginning of the Earth.

As some of you may know, I am a big fan of true crime shows like Nancy Grace, Predator: Raw, Cops, and Real Stories of the Highway Patrol. They reveal our men in blue for the heroes that they are. And they show all the bad guys who are perverts or drunks or addicts getting their just-desserts. Which is why I always make it a habit of opening up the police blotter page in my Daily Mail. Not the Gazette, they are only interested in criminalizing the captains of industry who create jobs. The Daily Mail knows who the real risks to our society are: drunks who pee in police cruisers.

Charleston Patrolmen J.E. Noland and J.D. Koerber were working early Sunday morning at the intersection of Loudon Heights Road and Bridge Road when a man passing by in car began yelling expletives at the officers and called them "pigs," the complaint said.

The driver was identified as Christopher James Ballard of 58th Street and the passenger, who had been yelling, was identified as Julian James Chippett, 36, of Smith Road, police said.

Ballard told Koerber that he was giving Chippett a ride home as a favor, the complaint said. Koerber frisked Ballard for weapons and found a clear plastic bag containing 5 grams of marijuana in his front pants pocket, police said. Ballard was arrested and charged with simple possession of marijuana.

Chippett was arrested for disorderly conduct and placed in the back of Noland's police car.

After arriving at police headquarters, officers discovered a large amount of urine in the backseat of the cruiser. Police said Chippett urinated toward Noland's seat, and that they found urine on the back floorboard, the back of the driver's seat, the rear door and the back seat.

Officers said the vehicle had to be treated as a biological hazard and would be taken out of service until it could be cleaned and new interior parts could be installed. The car's floor mats were disposed of at the police station.

I normally wouldn't make a big fuss about some drunk using a police cruiser as his own personal toilet, but I think people with certain initials should live up to their duties. Take my uncle Gerald Browner. Can you guess what his middle name is? That's right, William. So shouldn't I expect Gerald to live up to the standard set by good ole George W Bush, Jr. Your darn skippy I do. Gerald is a good Christian and a Republican, like GWB. He is a reformed alcoholic and father of two girls, like GWB. Only difference is that Gerald has always been phenominaly unsuccessful in business even though his Dad, Gerald Harold William Browner, did everything he could to help his son. Poor Gerald was not gifted with GWB's work ethic and do-it-yourself-ishness.

So, I admit, the intials do not necessarily make up the man, but if you go around calling yourself J.C., as this peeing bandit may have refered to himself, you have a duty of not acting like a complete piece of poo (sorry for the cursing but I am just upset right now). Would Jesus call the cops pigs? No, he had a complete respect for authority. Would Jesus do anything to defame public property? I think not. So, when this young J.C. gets out of the pokey, I hope he asks himself: WWJCD?

Outrage #2 of the Day: Anti-Business Kooks Attack Bayer

This has me just hot under the collar. These liberals in our Congress are raking our good local businessmen over the coals about this minor incident at Bayer. This is just ludicrous to compare it to Bhopal. I heard that the Bhopal explosion wasn't that serious and that it bankrupted Union Carbide, which hurt us here at home. Look, Bayer is employing us here and not laying anyone off, that is what we should be concerned about.

But is the Gazette worried about our jobs? No, that enviro-wacko Ken Ward Jr. is at it again, this time taking a break from trying to destroy the coal industry and the wonderful strip mining practices. Now he's trying to destroy the chemical industry.

The Kanawha Valley may have narrowly escaped a chemical plant catastrophe that could have surpassed the 1984 Bhopal disaster, according to a report released today by congressional investigators.
The August 2008 explosion at the Bayer CropScience Institute plant turned a 2 1/2-ton chemical vessel into a "dangerous projectile" that could have destroyed a nearby tank of deadly methyl isocyanate, according to the report by House Energy and Commerce Committee staff.

"Documents obtained by the committee raise serious questions about the vulnerabilities of Bayer's inventory of methyl isocyanate (MIC) during the 2008 explosion and about MIC monitoring systems that were out of service at the time of the explosion," the committee report said. "The documents also raise questions about whether Bayer has adequately considered the feasibility of reducing its MIC stockpile or switching to inherently safer technologies."

So what? I had a double-first cousin, Rickie, who worked at that plant for a summer. He said he worked around that MIC tank and never had any issues with it. That is just ridiculous to blame chemicals for everything. You know what water is? Its H2O, a chemical compound, and it can't hurt us none. That's what Rickie would always say, which would get us all laughing. Rickie died at the age of 28 from cancer and I will always miss his good humor. If he were around today, he'd tell us how crazy these folks in Congress are.

When will Congress stop encroaching on our freedom? Freedom is all about economic liberties. Environmental regulations are just the worst. First, you have to get an environmental impact statement, then you have to have public hearings and let in all the NIMBY wackos, then you have to clean up toxic sites. When will it end? Anyway, Ken Ward Jr. has some crazy stuff at the end of his article.

For example, the committee obtained a memo in which officials from Ann Green Communications suggested how plant manager Nick Crosby should deal with local citizen groups and journalists.

"Our goal with People Concerned About MIC should be to marginalize them," the memo said. "Take a similar approach to The Charleston Gazette. For as many years as it has been in print, the Gazette has chosen to be anti-business and champion environmental activists' causes. Marginalize its effectiveness."

Darn skippy the Gay-zette is a bunch of environmental wackos. Again, I'd like to know why their owners can't get their act together like the proprietors of the Daily Mail. Anyway, can anyone tell me what's wrong with what Bayer did? Nothing, that's what. Nuff said.

Outrage of the Day: Tax on Yacht Magazine

World renowned conservative editorialist and all around super-genius Don Surber brought to my attention this atrocity.

TALLAHASSEE — Buyers of yachts and private airplanes in Florida would be spared from paying the full 6 percent sales tax on their purchases. But magazine subscribers would now start paying taxes.

Mr. Don Surber is rightfully right in thinking that the tax cap is coercing the rich in Florida to keep their boats there and pay some sales tax. The rich should not be hoodwinked into this liberal plot. Rich people should have the freedom to keep their yachts and planes in other states where they don't have to pay sales taxes because that brings jobs. Trickle-down economics is proven every day!

And on top of that, it's hurting magazine subscribers now too! I've been getting Yachting Magazine free in the mail for 2 years, but now I'm going to have to pay a tax to keep getting it?!? That's pure taxation without representation.

Florida Legislature

Our right-thinking legislature down here is hard at work saving the policies of the late great Bush era. Texas don't have nothin' on us.

The tax break for new yacht owners is just the latest measure.

They recently pushed through an overhaul of the voting procedures and closed down the public comment forthwith. You will have to show valid ID's now - no more "low income" or "shady" people will be able pass themselves off as registered voters. Looks like Governor Crist will have to veto it though.

Developers are championed in this legislature. Even though the market is glutted with unsold homes, our delegates are forward thinking in allowing massive purchases of wetlands and farmlands for the homeowners and mall shoppers of the future. The tree hugging, progress retarding policies of the past 25 years will finally end up on the scrap heap where they belong.

After Ray Sansom, former speaker of the house, was indicted last week, it just proves that the grand jury doesn't know how things work. Rep. Kevin Ambler R-Tampa said our system of campaign contributions has "transparency." The airplane hanger for the planes of Sansom's friends will contain classrooms so what's all the fuss about.

The telephone companies will be deregulated. This has got to be good for the average Joe.

Schools will recieve less money for Godless textbooks, buses, and advanced placement classes.

Anyway, this latest one is that ultra-liberal Chris Matthews getting positively destroyed by good Republican John Culberson of Texas. This debate was about the excellent Governor Rick Perry with his smart comments on seccession. Here's the video:

And I think you‘re missing the bigger story here. And that is, the TEA Parties were a spontaneous horizontal reflection of the mood of the American people in general, and certainly in Texas, Chris. The country is at the tipping point, Chris.
We don‘t want money that we don‘t have, that our children can‘t afford to pay back spent. The government is spending too much and taxing too much. The country is at the tipping point, Chris.
And I think that what you saw—and don‘t make too much of what Governor Perry said. Again, he was just revved up, and—and, I think, in the heat of the moment, said something that—that certainly he didn‘t mean in his heart. We‘re patriotic Americans. No one wants Texas to secede.
We don‘t want to split into five states, Chris, but we need to work within the law to take back control of this government.
MATTHEWS: Right.
CULBERSON: I‘m fed up with Washington telling Texans how to run Texas, Chris.
And this TEA Party movement is something we need to keep alive. And we‘re going to do it through the Internet. And frankly, Chris, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Amen. These parties were totally spontaneous and grassroots. People upset with Obama's tax and spend ways is totally what the original Boston Tea Party was all about. They were also horizontal, instead of vertical or diagonal. That just makes perfect sense to me. I should say I was surprised these regular working folks were able to afford the billboard on MacCorkle Avenue, but that is the power of grassroots I guess. Here's more...

MATTHEWS: That‘s what Tom DeLay said last night, a special complaint.
CULBERSON: Texas...
MATTHEWS: And it turns out that a lot of the liberal states, which you guys would call Democrat states, up in the Northeast, states like New Jersey, are the ones that spend the most money in taxes.
Now, maybe they should be complainers, like Texas, but they‘re not complaining. Why are you guys complaining? Why are the pitchforks all out in the rural states, the Southern states?
CULBERSON: Because Texas is—because we see Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama and this Congress trying to turn America in France. And Texas is not going to become France.
We don‘t want to be a socialist European nation. We treasure our freedom. We treasure local government. We treasure the right to let Texans run Texas. And we know, instinctively, Chris, that this government has gone too far. They spent more money in less time than any Congress in history.

Whatever liberal, you are just lying about the supposed facts. Red states give more than blue states, that just makes sense. Liberals are the ones sitting on they're couch eating cheetos on the government dole while I am at work working. You don't see conservatives taking off work to goof off, that is for sure.

Anyway, Congressman Culberson does the exact right thing in this debate. Liberal Matthews just wants to change the subject with his lies about donor states. Good ole John goes back to the tried and true comments about France and socialism and freedom and government. You can't say those words enough if you ask me. Then Culberson just lays it all out at the end...

CULBERSON: More than anyone else, I think Texans have a special feeling in their heart about what it means to be an American. The core values that made America great are the values that made Texas great.
MATTHEWS: You know how absurd that sounds? You know how absurd, Congressman—Congressman, you say that you guys are more emotional about your Americanism. And, yet, you have got a governor talking about splitting from America. You know how absurd that sounds?
CULBERSON: He‘s not serious about it. Governor Perry is not serious about that, Chris.
MATTHEWS: Well, why did—he did it all week this week.
CULBERSON: Don‘t—don‘t make too big a deal out of it.
MATTHEWS: You say you love the country, but you can‘t wait to leave it. You‘re threatening to leave it.

Whatever, that is just a spin that liberal is doing. You can't take what Rick Perry said literally. Literal interpretations of actual quotes are just ridiculous, especially when the quotes are from way back. Rick Perry is just plain smart, and all Texans have his back. John Culberson is smart too, you should call or email him to thank him for being so smart.

- Reggie recommends that we go to Ryans for the next meeting. Unanimous consent is requested. After brief discussion, Board agreed.
- Reggie nominates Michelle as public relation liasson for the CLF. Michelle's duties will include, but are not limited to, spreading the word of freedom through various online message boards, blogs, and newspaper comment sections. Michelle accepts nomination and pledges that she will make every effort to include hyperlink to the CLF webpage to encourage more readership outside of the CLF group and Reggie's church. Also, Maek is encouraged to get a computer so that he can be kept updated about the upcoming meetings through the CLF webpage. Michelle interupts to request vote on her nomination. - Wud mentions that their beloved beagle, Rocky, is suffering with throat cancer. Marvene makes motion to express sympathy for Rocky through one minute moment of silence: seconded and passed. Moment of silence lasts almost one minute.
- Reggie reminds board that, as chief executive, he runs this portion of the meeting. Reggie requests moment of silence for country's fast, 86 day, slip from free market capitalism to Marxist socialism. Motion passed and seconded.

· Finance Committee report provided by Chair, Michelle:
- Michelle makes friendly welcoming statement and describes function of CLF website. She explains financial obligation of maintaining and updating website through Blogger.com. An annual donation to the CLF is requested of all board members. The amount of the donation is up to the individual. However, each amount will likely be listed prominantly on the CLF website. Tenne stands up and strenuously complains as she is on a fixed income with Social Security disability providing the only income. Michelle assures that no donation is required and agrees to forgo the idea of posting the donor names and amounts given on the website.
- Michelle explains that her husband, Kevin, reviewed the organization's bookkeeping procedures and found them to be sorely lacking. She stated that Kevin reviewed highlights, trends and issues from the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement and was aghast at the lack of organization. Reggie interrupts and questions whether these criticisms are warranted. Michelle explains that her husband is a CPA and knows what he is talking about. A moment of silence is observed. Michelle asks for unanimous consent to provide small payment for accounting review of the CLF books. Oma stands up to go to her car. Remembering Oma's conceal and carry permit, Marvene intervenes and suggests that payment involve omitting Michelle from having to supply her portion of the tip. Michelle agrees to this suggestion. Oma returns to her seat and motion is passed.

· Public Policy Development Committee's report provided by Chair, Marvene:
- Marvene makes long statement regarding her displeasure with the current government. Wide ranging topics, such as Obama's use of the teleprompter, Obama's stumbling in speeches and excessive use of the word "Um", sudden deficit spending by the government, government growing too big over the past 3 months, government suddently spying on average Americans, expanding the use of our military in foreign countries, Obama raising everyone's taxes, Obama trying to take away our Constitutional rights to free speech and freedom of assembly, etcetera. Motion to unanimously accept all the above statements by all members as the truth. Motion passed and seconded.
- Marvene recommends that we make a board retreat to the Anglers Roost in Mink Shoals. Tyrell states that he does not think this is an Anglers Roost anymore but may go by another name. Marvene interjects that it does not matter what they are named, just as long as they still sell guns and ammo. She further explains that this second amendment right is tenuous as Obama plans to send in his National Service youth to take away our guns through a door to door search. Motion to undertake this retreat no later than two Fridays from tomorrow. Motion passed.

· Other business:
- Reggie commends Betty Slater's pineapple upsidedown cake and requests she bring some snickerdoodles to the next meeting. Betty becomes slightly embarrassed and thanks everyone who loved her cake. Herb seconds the motion to make Betty official cake maker. Reggie admonishes Herb as he is not a board member, only a regular member, and cannot make motions. Reggie makes motion to make Betty official cake maker and to strongly recommend members to eat only one slice of cake until all members wanting cake are given a slice. Motion passed with one dissenting member.

· Assessment of the Meeting:
- Reggie notes displeasure with content of Shoney's buffet and dismay that they have discontinued breakfast items during late evening time. Reggie again expresses wish to have next meeting at Ryan's.
- Newheart noted that the past three meetings have run over the intended two-hour time slot by half an hour. He asked members to be more mindful and focused during discussions, and suggested that Reggie take an action to identify solutions to this issue. Michelle interjects and claims duties to be official time keeper. Moment of silence observed.
